Just a Tuesday.
Tuesday my sister was induced. I am sure she will post pictures of her new lovey when she gets out of the hospital. (I will not post a picture of her sweet face, because I did not get one. But for a picture of her foot check here.)

I asked her if she wanted me to take Madder to the zoo, since I had planned to take my girls after class Tuesday morning (Rhayn had the day off.)

Here are some pictures of the day. Because Rose was the middle name chosen for Madder's sister, we took some pictures in the rose garden at the zoo (another great one here).
And finally a picture of a baby. At 8ish Dacheese mentioned to the nurse that she was feeling pain, and also a little pressure. By 8:30 a baby was born. Rhayn and I watched her push that sweet little girl out. It was amazing. And I felt so lucky to get to witness her birth.

Girls in White Hats and Dog Gone Wild

Yesterday I watched Madder while my mom had a meeting. My mom wanted to take Rhayn out for dinner on her birthday. I just have to say that Madder is so much more work than Gwen. Gwen is calm, and listens. She sits down and snuggles. Madder is in everything. She turns all the lights on and off. She climbs on everything. She opens doors and then leaves them open. But the girls loved playing dress up, and after Rhayn's tea party tomorrow, I think Madder is getting some hats. How cute are they?

I was exhausted after her visit. Madder was really happy to see "my hay wee" and she would not leave the poor dog alone. I have to say that I really like Hailey. If she were house trained, she would be the cutest thing. I have a hard time with dominating her though. I have less trouble holding Big Ole' Blue down then I have holding little Hailey. Hailey fights, hard. She wiggles her entire body around. She needs a good whooping. While Blue gets it once in a while. Little dogs are harder, they look so cute, they jump up and no one seems to mind. They get away with murder practically, but if Lily did half the stuff that I think is cute when Hailey does, well let me just say Lily would be sat on. She would be disciplined. A lot.

A Table for Eleven
Yesterday Ender and his girlfriend flew in to the valley. A good chunk of the family was able to make it to the airport to pick him up. Then we headed over to the bed warehouse to pick up my mom and dad's new mattress. After a short discussion we headed to Macayo's to eat.

Madders loves to dip, especially chips in salsa. Then again, she gladly was licking the salsa off of the plate!
Gwennie Goo was fascinated by the giant parrots that adorn the ceiling. (That is Ender beside my mom. He wouldn't look at me in typical man fashion. So I was unable to get a picture of him.)
Jesse tells a mean story. (And Gwennie continues to point at the birdies!)
After dinner, we were getting ready to leave. I was holding Madders. I stepped under one of the parrots. I told her the giant bird would poop on her head. I know that Gwen would have laughed. Madders became concerned. She put her hand up and glanced at the fake bird in fear. I told dacheese what I did and she told me Madders gets worked up about things like that, she worries. Then I felt badly about telling Madders that the bird would poop on her. (It didn't stop me from standing under various other giant fake birds while Madders put her hood on and cringed. Poor baby! Bad Auntie!)

Patriotic Sewing
This is the only decent picture I got of her in this dress. She liked the "TARS!" But was running all over the kitchen when I tried to capture her. I really like the angle of this picture for some reason.
This one has no rick rack on the bottom, but has two pockets (scrubs style) on the sides. I was going to try to make Rhayn a dress out of this but I am about 1/2 a yard too short. Oh well, maybe I should head back to Joanns, since it was clearance fabric! The blue hat was Rhayn's, I can't believe she was ever that small!
Two cute little chickas, hanging out in doggy dresses. Madder totally looks good in black.

Cousins, what a great thing to be!
My mom wanted to take Rhayn and Bethie out today. The only problem was that she was watching Madder. This did not even seem an issue to me, as I adore Madder, and so does Gwennie. I love watching her because its like pretending I have twins, and they play together, sort of.
These are some chatty kids! They would talk to each other. One would ask the other a question, like Gwennie would say, "Doggy?" with so much inflection it makes your heart melt, and Madder answers, "Yeah!" There was so much enthusiasm in that one word. I rarely have that much enthusiasm in my whole day, let alone one word. They babbled on and on to each other. I wonder if like on Rugrats they really understand one another. Wouldn't that we neat?

While she was here, Madder enjoyed puppy kisses, and Gwennie kisses. She tried out Gwennie's cloth diapers (yes, even though she is half the size, they fit Madder's cute, teeny, tiny bottom too.) She didn't seem to mind them, and their butts looks so cute, all padded, chasing each other around and around my new ottoman, our kitchen island, the dining room table, and back again.
Most of all, I noticed that these little girls are turning into just that, little girls. And its happening so fast that none of us has really noticed it. Look at these girls! Are they babies? Not in the least! They look like the fast moving, independent toddlers that they are. It just makes me want to cry, what sweet little girls they are becoming.

totally depressed
I feel "down in the dumps" today. Seriously I feel like crap and want to curl in a ball and cry. I don't know what is up.
I did have a bad dream last night.
I dreamed that Bri (my sis) lost her baby, but at first it seemed like the baby was on time and I remember telling my mom to take her to a certain hospital (on the wrong side of town for them) and finally my mom calls and says that the baby was born. It was a boy they named him Henry and he died. I woke up and was feeling so miserable for her and trying to fall back asleep because I knew it was a dream. When I did I went right back to the bad dream and it was worse, because I was still pregnant and she wasn't. I didn't know how to console her, because although I have lost 2 pregnancies, they were both early and I never saw my baby's face or felt them moving around inside.
I wonder if that dream has anything to do with the "funk" I am in today? I know part of it is feeling like Will doesn't care about me. He expects me to do things (making breakfast) but doesn't really seem to appreciate what I do. When I try to talk to him today he makes me feel worse because he assumes I am "mad at him" so he thinks the best thing to do is make it worse by being a jerk.... oh i don't know how to describe it so it makes sense to anyone else. We have been having such a good time lately and these past few days have been awesome- then there is today and I just want to die today. I know curling up on the couch doesn't help- but it s so hard to get up when you are in a funk....isn't it?
