Instead we kept Rhayn home from school and had a "family day" at the zoo. Gwennie took her normal place upon Daddy's shoulders and Rhayn walked. It was a lovely day out. Perfect zoo weather, if you are thinking of heading to the zoo in the valley- it is THE time to do it!
I am off to enjoy my day. Now, get your booty outside! (I know that some of you aren't here and aren't enjoying this perfectly pleasant weather, well... in a few months it will be so darn hot here that I will be moaning about that... so let me brag just a little!)

I love ditch days... for family fun. What a great thing to do! We didn't do the whole trickery thing this year either.
Rhayn looks so grown up in that picture. I'm glad you enjoyed the zoo - Blaine's family went on Sunday (but it was still cold enough they needed jackets) I'm hoping the weather will be good while I'm in RI so I can go the zoo there - haven't been since many years ago when we went for G'mas birthday.
I don't like April Fools day either.
