Better for the moment

I am feeling better now, but still worried. Today when I was letting Rhayn pick a gift for Gwen at Target we wandered around and ended up in the Halloween section. The Halloween stuff is bordered by Christmas stuff. I felt panicked looking at it so I turned quickly away. Not a feeling I need at the moment.

I have felt neglectful of my blog this week. I am just so overwhelmed by needing to study for my Spanish class (Soy consado. I get it- its funny- the Babel fish is the thing they put in Arthur Dent's ear that feeds off of language in Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy. haha, Trillian is from that book as well. Whew, see what I am doing when I should be studying? Yup, finding a million links to put on my blog. It is much more fun.)

Four days until Gwennie's birthday. We have been trying to get her excited about it. She knows she will be "free" soon. I wish I had taken a picture of her today, she was so darn cute. Her outfit was adorable, and she even had a bow in her hair for a little while. But the heat (it was 105 again today) was draining and I couldn't get my booty in gear. Here is a picture from last Sunday of Rhayn in a super cute sailor dress, for Hairball. This dress was Hairball's favorite dress as a little girl. It is a size 10, but I absolutely loved the way it looked on Rhayn. She also liked it, and there is not one speck of pink on it. Ahhhh.
