Football!

Football! I know, I know, We are Americans and We call it soccer. However, Will calls it football and Rhayn knows it as such. She was excited for her first "football" practice.

We arrived at the Y for her practice at 6:30. We met her coach and they ran and kicked balls around cones. The coach (a woman) told us that at the age group she is in, the games are really easy going. There are three teams, which consist of five to seven players each. There are no goalies. If there are only four members of the team who show up for the game on Saturday, then one of the other team's players will join that team. There really aren't any winners, or losers at this stage. It is all about getting out there, kicking a ball and getting exercise! Unfortunately for Will, she doesn't have a game while he is here. He will get to watch her practice, and I am sure she will love that.
