Clementines and Faces

Today was long, really long. I feel like I have been going for weeks.

Will had drill today, but it wasn't an over nighter. He left the house at 0600. I slept in until 0730. But that didn't mean that I felt all refreshed when I woke up. I have had a low grade fever for 3 days. I have felt like I am in a daze. Not really sick, not lay down and sleep kind of sick, just blah. I think it is really bringing me down, too. I don't feel like me, I feel like I am living outside of my own skin in a way. Or maybe its that I feel like I am in a slightly different plane than everyone else, out of phase with the rest of the world. I am sure it will get better. I might just need a lot of sleep.

Today we had a birthday party to go to. I know I could have stayed home, I could have rested. But Rhayn has been talking about it for weeks. Her friend E told her she was "inbited" and so she needed to go. Plus she is my friend's daughter, and I wanted to go. It was in a nice area, not too far away (only 10 miles! LOL) the park had the best climbing tree ever. I really want to go back JUST for that tree! We stayed at the party until they were cleaning up, even though I kept feeling dizzy. Rhayn was having so much fun. And she had wanted her face painted at the Winter Fair, and We never got around to it. She was so excited when they had face painting at this party. She loved her face! She was so worried about it looking good. Even now, as it is almost bed time- she has this pretty pink butterfly on her face.

Gwennie has had a really bad diaper rash for a while. She has also had looser stools, so I thought that was it. She has always had a sensitivity to tomato, like if I ate it, since she was born. So I thought that might be it. Then I realized that it came around the time of the Clementines. Those delicious little citrus fruits. I have eaten so many, and she loves them, too. So, I guess no more delectable little oranges for her! I have a huge bag of them, too!
