No Crying!

Rhayn was a big girl, she didn't cry, in fact she handled getting her blood drawn better than I do. I am proud of her. Now hopefully nothing is wrong and she won't need to do that again for years!

The Tech took us back, she looked at Rhayn's arm, and noticed a tiny bruise from her last visit (same tech, too.) She sets up on the left arm then she calls a nurse to help her "just in case." Rhayn is in the chair shaking like a leaf in a monsoon storm. They ask her to sit still. She looks directly at the nurse, she looks directly at the tech and then at her arm. The needle goes in, and YEA! blood comes out! They fill the vial with the purple lid (Rhayn's favorite color right next to pink and blue.) The tech covers the wound, and we are on our way to ICE CREAM! Which I promised Rhayn if we got the blood drawn today. They seemed very impressed with her not crying and not fussing. She looked worried, but she did not cry at all.

At home, Daddy came in early. He sounds funny, and is determined that he has strep throat (claiming to never have had it.) He doesn't usually get it when we do. Fun, if he has it--- we have it. JOY. He goes to the doctor tomorrow to get it checked out. Only he has to go on base to do that. (Its only on the other side of the world.)
