Mary Did You Know by Clay Aikin

I've always claimed that "I heard the bells" is my favorite Christmas. And in some ways it is, I love to sing it. But if I want to listen to songs, these are my very favorites. For years I have started our Christmas music off listening to that version of "We Three Kings".
A few years ago I found the Clay Aikin version of "Mary Did You Know" on a compilation, and I loved it immediately, it brought tears to my eyes, and I decided that now that I am an adult "Mary Did You Know" is my favorite song of the season. It fills me with so much love. Because after having my own children the story of Mary hits me in a different way. (Of course being pregnant makes me more weepy, too.)
