Starting on a Path
I've paid my dues and become a "member" of the La Leche League. I've put my name in to become a leader, too. Now to read a whole bunch of books about breastfeeding, starting with "The Womanly Art of Breastfeeding"
I am excited to start on this journey but also terrified. I have never thought of myself as a leader of anything. But this is something I want to do. It is a way to start towards my goal of becoming a lactation consultant at some point. I just need to do it.

For you, I am sure the first step will be the hardest and hey, you've already made it that far. You will be great - what a fantastic goal you have set for yourself.
