Unfortunately this heat has kept most of my plants from growing. I am now looking at ways to shade the garden in hopes that it will allow some of them to sprout. I guess the ten degrees above normal temps are just too much.

Sigh, its too much for me, too. 90 I can handle, 100? meh.

I am nervous about mine too. So far everything seems to be OK, but a few of the peppers have sunburn even with sunflowers shading them.

I guess it would have been too much for us to get lower, seasonal temps right now and not above right? There I go, forgetting my new "be positive about the heat" vows already.

You may have to come and visit me in the cooler part of the state!

Can you put up some shade cloth? My poor little herb garden is starting to suffer, too, and it doesn't even get the worst of the afternoon heat.
