Voice

Watching Will's videos, the ones that he reads stories for the girls in, has a pleasant side effect. It puts his voice back in my daily life. I stand at the sink, washing dinner dishes, and he reads them a story. I wipe the counter, back to the television, and let his voice in.

And for a moment, everyone is home and safe.

Aww, my husband used to be in the Navy (he got out this summer) and he recorded songs for me... I played them the entire time he was gone.. I missed him and I wanted our unborn child to recognize his voice... it worked.. :)

Have room for a veteran's wife as a friend?

Hey. Thanks for stopping by and letting me know you're out there. We've got similar videos, but it hadn't occured to me to listen to them for myself. I'll have to give it a try. . . .

That is so beautiful! I wish I would have thought of having Mark do that for the kids. Very touching

What an amazing program...having parents read to their children via the television.

Do your girls end up watching those videos several times? How many do you get a week, on average? Or is it a daily thing?

They watch them daily, instead of me reading them a story right now, they watch one of the 5 videos he sent.

That's really awesome, for the kids, for Will, and for you.
