And Now...

The yard is lovely and we want to be out there (the girls have hardly come in since it was finished!) I have planted some tomato plants this morning, and plan to go to Home Depot (because of the Military Discount- they now get my patronage) and pick up some seeds or maybe a few more plants for my garden. R offered to plant the tomatoes and any other plants I wanted in there, but I really do enjoy it. I wanted the garden more for me (my brown thumb is turning green as I nurture it more and more.) I love getting my hands dirty while I tend my garden. I love the idea of getting a few delicious tomatoes off of my plants. Hopefully the poblano produces a few as well.

The girls want sunflowers. I think that if I put a few of them in the planter on my patio that would be the best spot for them. They will get to watch them grow and hopefully Lily will leave them alone. I also want to get a bell pepper plant. I had one before, and it produced a total of three lovely chocolate brown peppers. So maybe I can get some nice bell peppers. I love them, I eat them raw, sliced up and cold. Gwennie also loves them. Last night I brought a few home from the store and she became very excited about the peppers. I think she takes after me quite a lot.
