We had a dog named Molly when I was a kid and that idiot dog rolled in the stuff. She was covered from head to toe. Malcolm had to carry her back to camp since she couldn't walk and got plenty of cacti in him from the dog.....Or a better story, Josh W. tripped when we were climbing C mountain and landed in it. I had to use my hair clip to grab the sticker pods and pull them out....Note to self: take hair clip with you when hiking in the desert
Hairball could take tweezers - they would probably work better. I remember Peaches come home one day with part of a cholla in her mouth - it was horrid to get out. I love that the grass is starting to grow in AZ. Up here, it is the site of new born calves that give me hope that winter will soon be over - Feb & Mar are big calving months in montana.
