I have so much to do. I need to clean my house(have been totally slacking lately!), finish something that I need done by Saturday, and I have a strong urge to start these dolls I ordered recently from Weir Dolls and Crafts (which happens to be located in AA, Michigan!) I thought about buying some premade, but really I think I am handy enough with a needle and thread to be able to sew them, plus they cost about $50 or more, adn I am not spending that on a doll! I am making some of the girls presents this year. Not because we are broke, but because I want to. They are getting crowns like these. We made them for the school, and they sell for around $30. I don't see why I would buy them one, if I can make them. I am sure Rhayn will make a list of things she wants from Santa. She has to make the list by Thanksgiving, and leaves it out that eve and Santa will trade it for a Christmas movie. At least that was how it worked last year, and I think it was a good tradition!
Last year TLC made the girls these super cute knitted beanies. I have tried putting it on Gwennie, because it is starting to be a little chilly in the mornings when we go to drop Rhayn off at school. She leaves it on for 2.5 seconds. But in that time I was able to snap this picture of her.
Gwennie is being a monster. She has realized that she is a separate entity from me, and also, she really doesn't like her mama that much. Its all about Uncle G'Rat or Daddy, or GRANDPA!!! if he is around. Poor Grandpa doesn't have enough arms for all the little girls that are vying for his attention!
Really don't have much else to say. Its weird, because earlier I wanted to post, I had a ton of things I wanted to write about, and now, when I have time... my mind is blank! Oh I guess I can post about the food we made last night, I don't have a picture, but let me describe it to you!
We slow cooked some chicken breast in chipotle chiles, broth, onion and tomato. These were wrapped into an egg roll wrapper along with a roast poblano chile, then deep fried. We covered them with guacamole and sour cream, and YUMMERS! They were fairly spicy and we decided that next time we will leave out the chipotle, because it over powered the poblanos in the finished product.
We had leftovers, so I warmed them in the oven (to try to get back the crispiness, and it worked pretty well.) I made a jalapeno cream cheese sauce (similar to Macayo's Baja Sauce.). Oh, its making my mouth water just thinking about it!

I was lookging for madders beanie last night and I guess it is packed with the coats for the move.
I can't wait to see your dolls! I hope to get inspired to do some sewing soon. I have a pinwheel quilt (pattern from LVH) that needs to be finished up and would be perfect for my girl!
