Fun Monday Birthday Party

We went to a birthday party for one of the girls in Rhayn's class today. First the kids decorated their bikes with streamers and balloons. The kids paraded their bikes around the neighborhood ending at a park with a splash pad. Gwennie tried to ride her tricycle with the group, but she quickly fell to the back of the pack.
She and I ended up going back to our car (we were able to fit Rhayn's bike and Gwennie's tricycle in the back of the Mazda) to drop off her trike. Then we walked to the park.

The kids got really wet, and played hard. Gwennie stayed out of the water, she dislikes splash pads, because she can't control the water and it gets in her face. She was concerned from the moment we had her put on her suit that she was going to be swimming. In the below picture you can see the butterfly bandage that is covering her cut. I didn't get a picture of Rhayn on her bike but I did get this picture of her in a tree.
It was a good time had by all.
