Not too much

I really do not have a lot to say today. I guess its been such a dull week that I feel dull. Or maybe its that I caught the cold my little day care girlie had. I don't feel awful, just filled with ... I am not coming up with the proper word for that one.

Yesterday I spent a good portion of my day at Wacky-mart. Now if you know me, you KNOW I HATE that place more than anything. I only went because I needed to get an oil change and since I had the girls, I figured drop the car off, and then walk around looking at crap (in the air conditioning) while it is changed.

I was there around 10 and they only had 2 technicians, and like 3 cars in front of me for tires. I stood in line for 20 minutes before I finally asked if they had more technicians coming in later. Yes, at noon. So we drove home. (It is only about a mile and a half from home.) At noon, they gave me a 35 minute time, and the girls and I shopped and ate at Subway. The car was finished in a timely manner and that was the end of my trip to Wacky-mart until next time I need an oil change OR if I go visit my parents (their Wal-mart is less despicable to me.)

I also scheduled an exterminator to come to our house today. We have a real cricket problem and ants are in our kitchen again. We finally decided that it was time to have them spray chemicals all over our house. I dislike the idea, but with crickets often come scorpions and I am NOT excited about that. We had a giant black widow in the back yard, her body was the size of a kidney bean, with long scary legs. I know she was good, killing the crickets and all, but if she bit one of us? Well, I just had to squish her. (Yes, I squealed like a little girl when she fell out of the box I was throwing away!)

Huh, I guess I had more to say than I thought!

Yah, ya gotta do it (spray) for the sake of the little ones. You just never know what they're going to pick up. My husband's cousin's son just came out of the ER for getting stung twice by a scorpion. stepped on it, then picked it up! He was foaming at the mouth an everything!! Scary stuff.

Feeling bad for you having bugs. I remember how many crawly things we had in our house in Oracle. When it was built it must have disturbed the wildlife. We had had scorpions, centipedes, and all kinds of scary things. I got bit by a scorpion on my finger when I was sleeping. I even had a lizard bite me on the neck one night when I was asleep! I don't miss all those creepy crawly desert things. And I HATE crickets. I know they're harmless, but they always seem to jump at me. Freaks me out.. Don't have many scary bugs around here. Harmless little spiders sometimes get in my house and yesterday a ladybug somehow found it's way in, but nothing that is going to bite me or jump at me....
