Time is on her side.

The other day Rhayn was acting sleepy and bratty so I told her to go lay in her bed and "rest" for a half an hour.

I wrote the number 1:30 on a pad of paper and told her she could get up when her clock looked like that.
She sat on her bed quietly.

When I went to check on her she had written the time on the piece of paper every time she had noticed it changing.

She didn't really "rest" but she gave me a few minutes of free time, and the best, hardest, tear-bringing laugh I had had in a while! My cheeks hurt so badly afterwards, ah laughter is the best medicine!
